Gold & Citrus is a jewelry business located in downtown San Francisco. We design and create jewelry that is both luxurious, and playful. Each piece is made to order just for you. The only machines involved are occasionally a sewing machine, and of course our computers. (We are a little obsessed with those)

As you look around the store you will find that our pieces are made with only the best materials. Some are traditional as far as jewelry goes, (gold filled chains, beads, gemstones) and some are more experimental, (feathers, studs, antique sequins).

We believe that the whole experience of purchasing and owning jewelry should be both special and perfect. This is why we have designed everything from the packaging, to the tags on the jewelry. We thought about more than how fabulous you will look in these pieces, but how comfortable they feel. This is jewelry to be noticed in, and to treasure for a very, very long time.

The founders

Sara is the lead jewelry designer and creator. Sara’s daily routines involve fashion websites and magazines, sketchbooks, material research, sewing, beading, bending, gluing… whatever it takes. Long hours and sore butts are involved, but believe us, it’s worth it.

Rich is the lead web and graphic designer. Rich’s job is to make sure that your entire experience with Gold & Citrus is, well… amazing. From being able to search through a well designed and clear website to opening up the packaging that feels more like a treasure than a box, he has it covered.
